The Senior Special Assistant, SSA to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s on Community Engagement for Ondo North, Honourable Bode Obanla has described the centenary celebration of Okeagbe-Akoko Community as a reward of consistent genuine engagements.
Obanla a great advocate of community engagement and dialogue made the remark in an e-signed press statement issued by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant On Community Engagement (Ondo North), OSSACE.
He rejoiced with the entire people of Okeagbe-Akoko Community for the historic occasion and for sustaining impactful engagementsand dialogues above war and violence.
Saying,on behalf of my Team from the OSSACE Office,we are proud of this great attainment by the various Community Leaders,Royal Fathers and the entire members of Okeagbe-Akoko for the peaceful co-existent over the past 100years.
This achievement, Obanla said, is worthy of emulation and celebration by every other Akoko Communities because it is the reward of your consistent and commitment towards adoption of genuine engagement for peaceful resolutions.
He equally used the occasion to acknowledge the impact of the great sons and daughters of Okeagbe to the various rapid development of Akokoland and Ondo State as a whole.
Obanla singled out the unmatched contributions of the Honorable Minister of Interior, Hon.Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for being a great Ambassador of Okeagbe-Akoko globally.
He equally used the occasion to acknowledge the impact of other well meaning sons of Okeagbe in their various areas of callings and endeavors who have also contributed immensely to the huge success recorded on the event.
He specifically acknowledge the critical role of Prince Adetileewa Fafumilade whose office as the Secretary to the Okeagbe Oba-In-Council has become the fulcrum on which the unity and peace of Okeagbe-Akoko is solidified.
Obanla who has since his appointment become the great icon and advocate of impactful genuine community engagement after making his mark by his unprecedented engagement across the length and breath of Ondo North.
As at today nearly all the rural and urban communities in Ondo North are feeling the impact of his office by their solutions geared towards easen their community related challenges.
