A highly respected Community Youth Leader of Ikare- Akoko,Prince Fatai Aidi nicknamed “Current Agesin Sawo” and a Special Assistant,SA To Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa,the Executive Governor of Ondo State has dissociated himself from the viral video of one Jasito shared on the social media platforms.
Current in an exclusive interview with some Journalists on Tuesday while dissociating himself from the Jasito guy video warned that his name must not be dragged into ridicule.
Current said, I am a responsible Prince from Owalukare Dynasty and am also currently serving as a Special Assistant,SA to Mr.Governor and I
I want to categorically stated here for record purposes that I do not subscribe or confined criminality and I don’t endorse or support such irritating and malicious damaging viral video.
Saying that, “I know the enormity of that cyberbullying and I can never involve myself in such a sacrilegious act because I know cyberbullying is libelous and is also a criminal offence under the Nigerian law that carries serious punishment.
“I want to clear my names that I am not in support of blackmailing nor do I in any way associated or in agreement with the intent or content of that Jasitos malicious viral video disparaging and casting aspersions on the person of the Executive Governor Dr.Aiyedatiwa.
I am known for my bold courageous exploits in the past and present and as a true defender of my Kingdom and I do not want my names being dragged into the mud on matters that are criminally inclined”
Current also sent his stern warnings to any other persons hiding behind the hood to tarnish his image, his names and reputation he had laboured to build over the years to desist from such inglorious acts that is tantamount to causing disaffections, crises and placing Ikare-Akoko in a bad light globally against the government of Gov.Aiyedatiwa.
Current who also use the medium to call on Gov.Aiyedatiwa to ignore the ranting of those looking for cheap attentions and face the governance to make life easier for Ondo State Masses.
He concluded by drawing the attention of Gov.Aiyedatiwa to the slow pace of work by the Contractors handling the Supare-Akungba -Ikare dual carriage road construction to send strong warning to the contractors to increase their speed..
“I am seriously appealing on behalf of the Akoko masses to Gov. Aiyedatiwa for an unannounced on site inspection to the road to see things for himself as my people will experience much suffering with the advent of the rainy season”
